Julia was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 21, 1941. Julia was a loving Mother, Nana, Sister and friend. She was a 1960 graduate from Liberty Union. She loved her job driving a dump truck at Vinson Trucking where she retired. She was best known as “Bumper” while in her truck. Julia never met a stranger. With a heart of gold, she welcomed anyone into her home and showed them what unconditional love really was. She was always joking and laughing. With her mischievous grin, you knew she was up to something. Julia could always be found in the kitchen because she loved to cook and feed others. One of her many passions was animals; she could never turn down a stray. Her love for animals was only exceeded by her love for her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of West Alabama, 2430 36th Street, Northport, Al. 35473
