Julian Thomas Peters, age 69, of Northport, passed away on December 15, 2023. Born January 4, 1954, in Tuscaloosa, he was the son of the late Thomas and Bette Peters.
Julian, called "Pete" by his friends, was a 1972 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School. He attended Walker Junior College where he received an associate's degree in Science and worked as a highly competent mechanic for Empire Coke Company and Coral Industries.
Julian enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a very proud Poppie who loved his daughter and grandchildren very much and was involved in their daily lives.
Julian is survived by his daughter Lauren (Bill) Anders; his cherished grandchildren, Troy, Miles, and Stevie; his brother Marcus Peters, his sister Alison (Rich) Henderson, and his girlfriend Juanita Burroughs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Bette Peters, and beloved son, Brandon Peters.

A graveside service for Julian will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
