Linda was born to parents Robert and Wilma Erwin of Winfield, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Erwin; sister, Bobbie Hankins; daughter, Nancy Lockhart Robinson; and husband, William O'Bryant. She is survived by sons, Dennis Lockhart (Kathy) and Kevin Lockhart (Sherry); grandchildren, Melinda Lollar (Phillip), Rob Lockhart, and Jordan Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Lexi Christian; and many nieces, nephews, and blended family members.
After raising three children, Linda graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught for many years at Tuscaloosa Christian and Holt Elementary Schools. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with her husband, Bill and their many friends. Until her health declined, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa. She sang in the choir and especially enjoyed her Good Samaritan Sunday School class.
Pallbearers will be Rob Lockhart, Jordan Lockhart, Phillip Lollar, Phillip Lollar, Jr., Tyler Lollar, and Brandon Christian.
