Mark Welcome Hudson

A visitation for Mark will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, 5200 Old Birmingham Highway, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, 5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404.

Mark Welcome Hudson was born to Dave and Llyn Hudson on September 6, 1964, in Demopolis, Alabama. He attended Demopolis Academy through the 5th grade when the family moved to Tuscaloosa with Gulf States Paper Co. He then attended West End Christian. Mark became an avid University of Alabama football, basketball, and baseball fan. Mark enjoyed being with family, especially celebrating Christmases and everyone's birthdays which were always big family events. He had two special cats that he adopted from the Metro Animal Shelter that were his best companions.

Mark passed away at Hospice of West Alabama, on April 7th.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, David and Llyn Hudson.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Madge Crawford (Bubba); brother, David Hudson (Kim); and nieces and nephews, Rebekah Llyn Crawford, Michael Crawford, Matthew Crawford (Hannah), Trey Hudson (Lele), and Mark Gregory Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Michael Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Trey Hudson, Mark Gregory Hudson, Jacky Poole, and Mike Elder.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
