Marth V Garmon, age 81, of Vance, Alabama, passed away at her home on October 21, 2023. Ms. Garmon was born October 27, 1941, in Boaz, Al., to Flora and Will Garmon. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and ensuring you never left her presence without a smile. Ms. Garmon was indeed one of a kind and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Flora and Will Gamon; daughter, Paula O’Bryan; sisters, Bracie Springfield Lois Kilpatrick, Geneva House; brothers, Theron Garmon, Warren Garmon, and Claudell Garmon. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Henderson of Vance and Sheila Cole of Eutaw; sister, Cynthia Harper; brothers, Elmo Garmon and Ron Garmon; grandchildren, Joseph Johnson, Alicia Blackmon, Brandon Cole, Brittany Eaton, and Preston Cole. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will start at 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Memory Hill Gardens.
