Michael Eddie Jones

NORTHPORT – Michael ""Eddie"" Jones, age 59, of Northport, Ala., died October 28, 2017, at home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Memory Hill Gardens with Scott McQueen officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Crenshaw Jones and uncle, Joe Frank Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Jones; daughter, Ashley Rogers (Josh); son, Michael Jones (Chasity); parents, John E. Jones (Yvonne Dewberry) and Adell Morrison; sisters, Darlene Jones, Cindy Mallory (Allen), Joni Jones and Susan Brown; brothers, Rodney Jones, Richie Kincade (Lynn and Kenny Kincade; grandchildren, Claire Beth Jones and Noah Rogers; fur baby, Katie Jo; extended family; and brothers and sisters of Phifer Inc.

Eddie was a loyal husband, loving father and faithful follower of Christ. He enjoyed traveling with his family, spending time outdoors, fishing and Alabama football.

Eddie cared deeply for people and had a servant's heart. Phifer Inc. held a special place in Eddie's heart.

Honorary pallbearers are his Phifer family and all Phifer employees, the nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the ALS Association.
