Rachel Clarice Williams passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama. Rachel was born into the Proctor family on November 22, 1946. She was the youngest daughter with 3 older sisters and 3 younger brothers. She spent over 35 years working at Industrial Warehouse Services. Most of her weekends were spent with her beloved husband, John Boy, at their cabin on the river pontoon cruising with family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, overwhelming sense of calmness, and her contagious laugh. She truly cherished time spent with her 5 grandchildren.
Rachel is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnny Lee Williams, her son Kevin (April), her daughter, Christy (Neil), and 5 wonderful grandchildren, Hayden, Colton, Remy, Ava Marie and Lexi.
The family invites you to celebrate her life at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Visitation will be held at 2pm. The funeral will take place directly after at 3pm followed by a graveside service.
