Rebekah “Becky” Thrasher Daniel, 68, of Northport, passed away on February 01, 2022 at her residence. A visitation is scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 09, 2022 at Memory Chapel, a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2:00pm from the funeral home Chapel. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jimmy Holliman and under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.
Becky was born January 29, 1954 in Picher, OK, to the late Rev. Pete Thrasher, Sr. and LeaEtta M. Thrasher. She was a long-time beloved Kindergarten Teacher at Open Door Baptist Church (now North River Christian Academy). She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with friends, she was a member of the Coker Garden Club. Becky loved her Lord and was thankful for all of his many blessings, even during trials, she was always grateful to God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Lee Daniel; one son Stephen Douglas Daniel; two brothers: Pete Thrasher, Jr. and Phil Thrasher; and her beloved dog “Baby.”
Becky is survived by her son Johnny Lee Daniel; one grandson Earl Douglas Daniel and one sister Mary Ann James.
