Ruby Nell Foley

COTTONDALE – Ruby Nell "Beckie" Foley, age 83, of Cottondale, died December 10, 2016, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Old Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Lowery and Chaplain Michelle Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, December 13, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Foley; two sisters; three brothers; and parents, Archie Moore and Ida Moore. Survivors include her daughter, Robin James (Jessie) of Cottondale, Ala.; brother, John Moore (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Adam James (Lauren) and Brian James; and great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Stella, Sterling and Mary Brian. Beckie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved God with all of her heart and she was ready to go home to be with her Lord. Now she is home in heaven at last with no suffering or pain. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be dearly missed. Pallbearers will be William Henry Cooley, Wade West, Marvin James, Robert Simmons, Adam James and Brian James. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, DCH Home Health Care, Mike and Judy Duncan, Barbara Lemmon, Old Salem Baptist Church, Cottondale Community, Dr. Craig Buettner, Barbie Cleino CRNP and staff.
