Sidney Michael (Mike) Crawford or as some people knew him, “Mickey Mouse” 64 of Brookwood, Alabama left this Earth on April 9th, 2021. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Graveside services will follow immediately at Big Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Gary Youngblood and Pastor Vic Hutchins officiating.
Mike was born November 28th, 1956 to Frank and Nina Crawford. He was the second youngest of elevenhttps://admin.mem.com/sso/newde/10147656#contententry/family children. His mother, father, and sister, JoAnn, precede him in death.
He is survived by his brothers Earnest Crawford, James Crawford (Judy), Dewey Crawford (Billie Jean), William Crawford (Nancy), Gene Ed Crawford (Carol) and his sisters Mary Garner (Wayne), Sandy Green, Deb Nash (Dennis) and Dot Betke (Jim).
Mike was wed to his wife Kimberly Kreider Crawford on October 1st, 1999 and were together a total of twenty-seven years. He is Survived by his three children; Jessica Smith (Phillip), Dakota Jordan (Ciara) and Brandon Crawford and three grandchildren; Makaila and Daniel (Jessica) and Broly (Dakota) and his Fur babies Little Bit, Little Man and Little Girl. Numerous, nieces, nephews and friends survive him.
Pallbearers will be Randy Crawford, Tommy Joe Crawford, T.J. Crawford, Jonathan Toxey, Homer Eaton, Justin Brewer, Shannon Kizziah and Dewey Green.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Denis Byard, Marvin Schneider, Steve Eaton, beloved friends and family.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Amelya Chatman, Dr. Richard Jones, Dr. Jack Parker and the staff at Encompass Health (hospice) for their care and support.
Immediately following burial, everyone is welcome to congregate at Mike’s residence for food and fellowship.
