Steve K Eaton

Steve K Eaton, 69, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. Born on September 9th, 1956 in Ohio to his parents Clifford and Dean Eaton. He attended Brookwood High School and retired from the University of Alabama. He was a loving husband to his wife of 46 years, a wonderfu; father and grandfather and a friend to many. He was known for his outgoing personality and lived life to the fullest.

Steve is survived by his wife, Patricia Eaton of Vance; his daughter, Danielle Phelps of Cottondale (Stevie Phelps); his son, Homer Eaton of Brookwood; his sister, Sandra Kizziah of Vance (Wayne Kizziah); and his grandson, Aiden Phelps of Cottondale. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Vista and Jeff Vanoy, and Elva and Nola Eaton; his parents, Cliford and Dean Eaton; and his brother, Tim Eaton.

Pallbearers for the service will be David Cooper, Gary Averett, Johnny Cooley, Jimmy Cooley, Kevin Young, and Larry Green. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. William Keith Debell and wife, DCH MICU 3 nursing staff, Don Oyler, and the UMC Hospital Team.

A committal service will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, located at 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, United States, on December 29, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
