Sue Lawson Kizziah, age 77, of Tuscaloosa, died Aug. 21, 2011, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Eula Lawson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara Bailey (Ed), Rebecca Smith (Leon), Magara Hosmer (M.L.), and Ruth Willcut (Harold); nephew, Eddie Bailey (Carol); and great-nephew, Russell Morin.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Billy Don Kizziah; son, Grady Floyd Kizziah; sister, Melba Brooks (Charles); 12 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She worked at Reichhold Chemicals for 20 years and Spiller Furniture for 20 years.
Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John Summerford, Dr. David Hinton, Shane Spiller, David Williams, and employees of Spiller Furniture.
