Tammy Lemley Long, age 64, of Cottondale, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Delbert Canterberry officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Katie Lee Lemley, Luther and Mary Mills; father, Robert Lemley; brother, Tony Lemley; the love of her life/ husband, Billy Long.
She is survived by her mother, Nelda Lemley; daughter, Heather Petty (Randall); son, Eddie Long (Debbie); brothers, Mike Lemley (Lisa), Scott Lemley (Deb) and Daryl Lemley (Sheri).
Tammy was retired from AIDT and was also a member of THS class of 1978. She loved making arts and crafts and her favorite to make were christmas ornaments that will decorate several family trees for years to come. Her favorite thing to do was to listen to her husband play music.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Lemley, Westin Lemley, Kevin Jenkins, Macade Lavender, Corey Fryer and Daniel Presley.
