Bruce Meazell

Bruce Meazell, age 59, of Flint, went to be with his Lord and Savior in the mid-morning hours of Monday, February 06, 2012 at East Texas Medical Center at Tyler. He was born on November 12, 1952 in Athens to Lamar Grimes and Evelyn Louise Donaldson Meazell, they preceded him in death. After high school, Bruce worked as a service station manager and as a route driver for a medical transport company. He married Sadie Amadeo on March 19, 1988 in Tyler, she survives. Bruce was a country boy at heart and a gentle giant who used his life to minister to those around him. He was God’s sweetest soul who lived his faith daily and was an example for all to follow.

Bruce is survived by wife Sadie of Tyler; daughters, Rebecca Meazell Schmidt, and husband Shawn, of Arp, TX and Rhonda Meazell Scott, and husband Lee, of Whitehouse, TX; grandchildren, Starla Schmidt, Mason Schmidt, and Amber Zedlitz; sister, Patty Crow, and husband James, of Garland, TX; brother, Stanley Kenneth Meazell of Tyler, TX; niece, Shanna Melton, and husband Kyle, of Murphy, TX; nephews, Jacob Meazell and Kenneth Meazell, both of Little Rock, AK; and by great-nieces, Kaitlyn Melton and Kami Melton, both of Murphy, TX.

Services for Bruce Meazell will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Funeral with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
