“Sandy”( Mike) Reese, age 68, of Flint, went home Sunday March 1, 2015, at 11:07 am with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2015 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Worthen and nephew, Layne Gordon officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday.
Mr. Reese was born on November 7, 1946, in Eustace.
He is survived by the love of his life and best friend of 43 years, Carol Ann Reese, of Flint, where they enjoyed living on the lake; daughter, Kimberly “Kimbo” Sonnier, of Westlake, Louisiana; son, Lance Rentzel Reese, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, and daughter, Carlotta Cooper, of Pflugerville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Pearl Reese; birth parents, Buel Perkins and Allyne Dasner; son, Terry Booth; brothers-in-law, Jim Gordon and Shelton Witt; and great-nephew, Eric Layne Gordon.
Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Layne Gordon, Daniel Adair, Brady Burelsmith, Tony Streva, Mario DeLeon and Jerry Reed.
