Carole Ann Horton, 74 of Tyler, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Tyler. Mrs. Horton, a retired Registered Nurse, was born on August 20, 1938. She received her Nursing Degree from Texas Eastern School of Nursing in 1959. She was a public health nurse for 25+ years. She married Daniel Henry Horton on December 23, 1960 in Tyler. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and a former member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was also a member of Green Acres Senior Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Henry Horton in 2007 and is survived by her sons, William Keith Horton of Tyler, Raymond Scott Horton of McKinney; brother, Sonny Tucker of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Tyler Memorial Cemetery. Tyler Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is entrusted with the arrangements.
