Dean Brown (Jones) Nolan was born on July 25, 1930, in Rusk County near Henderson, to Albertin B. Brown and Z. Estella Brown. She went home to meet The Lord on January 23, 2017, in Bossier City, Louisiana where she resided for the last year of her life.
Dean was preceded by her first husband and father of her children, Norman E. Jones.
The couple had three children: Norman Michael Jones of Chandler, David Neil Jones of Lindale, and Dena Lyn Gunter of Benton, Louisiana. Norman and Dean resided in Tyler for most of their 48 years of marriage
.
Dean preceded her second husband, Lonnie M. Nolan of San Antonio, and his three children, Terry, Mary Kay and Lee Ann. Dean and Lonnie were married for 15 years. Dean also preceded her children, one daughter-in-law, Dona Jones (Mike), and one son-in-law, Peter Gunter (Dena), eight grandchildren, one sister and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dean was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11 AM.
