Mrs. Cook a retired Human Resources Manager of Montgomery Ward for 40 years and was born on Thursday January 30, 1941 in Paris, TX. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Cook, her parents and her brother, Orville David Shires.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Jerry Johnson of Tyler, sister Dorothy Rawlinson of Mt. Selman; brother, Eddie Shires of Tyler.
Faye is also survived by her granddaughter Kristina Fontenot of Winona and great granddaughter, Caelley Fontenot, also of Winona.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sat., January 28, 2017 at Westwood Baptist Church, 820 N. Northwest Loop 323, Tyler; with visitation one hour prior to the service.
