Lupe was a devoted wife of 59 years to her late husband Joe "Chasco", who passed away in January 2017.
She is also preceded in death by her son Johnny Saenz.
She is survived by Ana and Powell Schlensker of Plano, Joe and Lisa Saenz of Whitehouse, Jesse and Randi Saenz of Lindale and Alma and Lonny Hagan of Chandler and brother Alonzo Barrera of Edinburg, nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Lupe was laid to rest at Tyler Memorial Cemetery at a private service.
