James was very fond of his career as an electrician. His work was his life. James enjoyed rock music and a cold Bud Light. He loved all animals, but he also had a fascination with wolves. James favorite time was spent with his close family and dear friends.
James is survived by his niece Misty Meurer; girlfriend Penny George; half-sisters Carolyn Glasscock, MaryAnn Watts, Betty Davis, and Frances Sprouse; nieces Cathy Oflers, Rebecca Loomis, and Kelly Davis; nephews Joe Watts, Delvin Sprouse, Billy Sprouse, James Sprouse, Jearl Davis and Danny Davis; and numerous other relatives and friends.
James is preceded in death by his parents Irene and James Meurer; sisters Jeanette Miles and Patsy Alexander; nieces Kimberly Jobe, Chasity Swinney, Leanette Mink, Crystal Barker, and Misty Meurer; and nephews Jimmy Miles and James Miles.
A graveside service for James will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
