Kenneth Richard Cramer

Funeral services for Kenneth “Ken” Richard Cramer, age 61 of Tyler will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Harkness officiating. Mr. Cramer was born on February 26, 1955 in Phillipston, Pennsylvania to Herbert Eugene and Lavonne Lucille Mix Cramer and passed away on October 12, 2016 in Houston.

He lived most of his childhood in Phillipston, Pennsylvania and moved to Tyler with his family in 1977. He graduated from East Brady High School in 1973 and continued his education at Kittanning Pennsylvania School of Cosmetology. In 1977 he attended Asbury College in Lexington, Kentucky and then moved to Tyler where he attended Tyler Junior College and received his associates degree. He also attended the University of Texas at Tyler where he received his masters degree in education. He was employed by Tyler Independent School District for 34 years before retiring in June 2015. He loved to cook, read, travel, play cards and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Nikkole Dannielle Cramer of Gilmer and Brittanny Noelle Petruzzi and husband Joseph James of Wichita Falls; brothers, Gary Herbert Cramer and wife Lynn of Lima, Ohio and William Daniel Cramer and wife Sherri of Chandler; sisters, Virginia Grace Cramer of Tyler. Susan Kay Donaldson and husband Michael of Quinlan and Malissa Ann Dodson and husband Kenneth of Azle and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents and brother Clifford Vernon Painter.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Bates, Michael Donaldson, Joseph Petruzzi, James Cramer, Timothy Cramer and Harvey Channon III.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
