

Martha Ann (Marti) Hargett Allred went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2026. She was born in Pratt, Kansas on May 5, 1930 to Logan B and Vina Mae (Andrews) Hargett. She grew up in Weiser, Idaho and graduated from Weiser High School in 1948. She married Carter E (Al) Allred on October 1, 1951. They were married for 52 years. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2003.
Marti’s life revolved around her husband and three children, Joyce Allred Halleck, Stan Allred and Frank Allred. She was involved in her church for much of her life and taught the primary age in Sunday School for 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading,crocheting and traveling. She and AL traveled in the United States and other countries.
Marti was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Elmer Hargett, Wayne Hargett and four sisters, Elsie Newsom, Rowena Chamness, Ilene Heggem, Mary Kinnaman and son-in-law Tony Halleck.
Marti is survived by her three children Joyce, Stan (Barbara) and Frank; grandchildren, Clint Cagle (Susan), Jennifer Allred, Jonathan Allred (Emalie), Luke Cagle, Elizabeth Harton (Matt), and Samuel Allred; great grandchildren, Abigail Warren, Nathan Warren, Jonathan Allred, Jr., Nolan Allred, Calvin Harton, Zella Harton and Maxwell Harton; great-great granddaughter Ellie Fowler. Marti was also “Grandma” to Johnny, Dylan and Jessica.Even though they were not related, they held a special place in her heart. Along with their parents Tom and Tran Nguyen.
