Mary Lorena Barton

Funeral Services for Mary Lorena Barton, 84, of Tyler will be 3:00pm Thursday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in Tyler Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barton was born on November 20, 1933 in Milam County to James Elmer and Drury Lee Broussard Bross and passed away on July 7, 2018 in Tyler. She lived in Dallas from 1961 to 1971, moving to Tyler in 1972. She was a member of Willowbrook Baptist Church, and a Real Estate broker. She taught ballroom dancing in Midland.

Survivors include her husband, Malcom Barton of Tyler; son, Jim Conaway of Tyler; daughter, Kimberly Keys and husband Bobby of Tyler; Step-son, Chris Barton and wife Rhonda of Lake Palestine; Step-daughter, Debbie Bridges and husband Keith of Plano; grandchildren Michael Conaway of Lewisville, Meagan Conaway of The Colony, Andrew Blackmon and wife Brittany of Bedford, Shelbi Aburmman and husband Ibraheem of Houston and Maverick Blumn of Arlington, Great-grandchildren Othman Aburmman of Houston, Autumn Reynolds and Jameson Reynolds both of The Colony; Brothers-in-law Mark Barton and James Barton both of Gilmer and daughter-in-law, Kay Clark of The Colony.

Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy and J.W. Paschal and sisters, Ruby Pack and Dorothy Shelton.
