There were not enough words to describe Ola, but a few great ones that come to mind are strong, kind hearted, caring, angelic and hard working. Ola always seemed to have a special connection with everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She loved her family more than anything else in this world. Ola was the type of mother who made sure everyone was fed and taken care of before herself and was the last one to sit down at the dinner table. Ola was also famous for her homemade biscuits, she made sure anyone who came over got some. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Ola was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Blanche Dickson; husband, Clifford Jones; son, Thomas "Tommy" Jones; five sisters, Alma, Vesta, Irene, Ura V and Cleo and two brothers, Truman and Orval.
She is survived by her daughter, Laverne Lewis; son, Allen Jones and wife Felicia and daughter in-law, Sandra Jones as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
