Pat got married to the love of his life, Jeannie, on Monday, August 14, 1967 in Kaufman, Texas. He was a Master Sergeant, 1st class, in the U.S. Army. Pat spent a total of 20 years in the military as special forces, army ranger, drill sergeant, airborne combat infantry in Vietnam and many other prideful accomplishments for our country. He was also a machinist for ABL Services in Tyler, Texas and was an expert at fixing things, too. Most would call Pat the 'Jack of all trades.' Not only did he enjoy hunting and fishing for catfish, he was known as a mathematician. Pat loved spending quality time with his loving family, but his pride and joy was the precious time he had with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Pat is survived by his loving wife Jeannie Dickerson; children Liesa (Burleigh) Dickerson Johnson, Pat D. (Robyn) Dickerson, and Amanda (Joseph) Gray; grandchildren Jordan Johnson, Todd (Jamie) Dickerson, Zachary Johnson, Gracie Gray, Abbey Johnson, and Hailey Gray; great-grandchildren Michael and Ryleigh Dickerson and Noah Paul on the way.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, James C. Dickerson and Grace Liesa Berry Dickerson; brother Michael Dickerson; and granddaughter Emily Johnson.
