Paul was raised in New Orleans and attended Archbishop Shaw High School until 1962. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, completing a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1966–1967 and attaining the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
In 1966, Paul married Carolyn Mary Fahm, and together they had three children. Over the years he worked various jobs, most often in sales, where his personable nature and steady demeanor shined. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed the outdoors, browsing flea markets, and appreciating the small, simple pleasures of life. His friends and family will remember him as a soft-spoken gentleman with a kind spirit.
Paul is survived by his children Stephen Paul Taylor, Jeffrey Lee Taylor, Scott Anthony Taylor, and Virginia Marlene Taylor, as well as twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Dean Taylor, with whom he shared many cherished years.
Paul’s life was marked by service, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
