Funeral services for Regina “Regie” Thompson, age 91, of Tyler will be 2:00PM Monday at Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church with Rev James McMillan officiating, burial will be in Tyler Memorial park. Mrs Thompson was born November 11, 1921 in Overton to Ruel Kenneth and Lorene Perry Whittington and passed away on January 19, 2013 in Tyler. She and her husband Delbert owned & operated Rosemont Nurseries for 25 Years, 23 years as secretary for County extension office, she worked for attorney John Trube, she was a member of Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church and a Graduate of Tyler High School and Tyler Junior College.
Survivors include Sons: Tom Thompson & Wife: Sue of Hideaway Lake, Delbert Kenneth Thompson & Bill Lessard of New York City, Daughter: Julia North & Husband Don of Magnolia, 3 Grandchildren, 7 Greatgrandchildren, Brothers: Joseph Whittington & Wife Phyllis of Portland, OR and 2 Nephews: Larry & Brad, 2 Nieces: Wendy & Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Delbert & 1 Brother. Children: Billy Deanne and Della Jo
