Mrs. Hampton was born on January 28, 1935 in Alexandria, Alabama to Jeff and Magnease Rogers and passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 in Tyler.
Formerly of Houston, she had lived in Chandler since 2002 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, O.B.Hampton of Chandler; son, Gary Allen of Troup; daughter, Donna Mauk of Sage Meadow; stepchildren, Ben Hampton of Manvel, Loyce Malone of Houston, Sharon Owens of Santa Fe,Texas, Laura Fisher of Baytown and Sherman Wayne Hampton of Mont Belvieu; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
