Services for Virgil Ray VanSickle age 70 of Rusk will be 2:00PM Friday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Tyler Memorial Park. Mr. VanSickle was born on Dec 15, 1945 in Tyler to Delmar R and Geraldine Rainey VanSickle and went to be with the Lord on Feb 29, 2016 in Rusk. He attended Chapel Hill Schools and lived most of his life in Tyler before moving to Rusk. He worked as a Driller for Wards Exploration Company and also was in business with A.L. Hanna Sanitation until he retired. He was Life Member of Henry Marsh Bell #1371. Virgil was an avid Outdoor person, Loving to hunt, fish and work in his yard. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Survivors include his wifeof 42 Years: Doris VanSickle of Rusk, son: Billy Kincade of Blue Springs, MO, Grandson: Lazaris Kincade of Blue Springs, MO, Sisters: Thelma Clements and Husband Jerry, Wanda McCoy and Husband Carl Wayne and Jackie Jackson and Husband Hamond, Several Nieces & Nephews and many Friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother: Learmon VanSickle and Sister: Virginia V Bowman. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
