Graveside Services for Wilbert Lee Bickerdike, age 73, of Tyler, will be 3:00PM Friday at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Bro. Pat Alvey officiating with Tyler Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bickerdike was born on March 31, 1940 to John Wesley & Frieda Peters Bickerdike and passed away on May 1, 2013 in Tyler, Mr. Bickerdike was a Baptist and lived in Tyler most of his life he served in the U S Army during Vietnam and was an inspector for Kelly Springfield Tire. Survivors include Daughters: Alicia Jenkins & Fiance Donald Sharp of Tyler, Melissa May & Husband Kenneth of Tyler, Son: Danny Bickerdike & Wife: Katie Rogers of Tyler. 6 Grandchildren, 2 Greatgrandchildren, Brothers: Gus Bickerdike & Wife: Carol of Tyler, Raymond Bickerdike & Wife: Annie of Tyler, Sisters: Dorothy Harris & Husband Lewis of Tyler, Ruth Harris & Husband Alvie of Peyton, CO, Sanyia Austin & Husband: Teddy of Chandler, Shirley Rogers & Husband: Melvin of Chandler. Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Mr. Bickerdike was Preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Annie Ruth Bickerdike & Son David Bickerdike. Visitation will be 1 Hour prior to service at the Cemetery.
