

David W. Watson, 53, of Uncasville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Monique (Fontaine) Watson. He is also survived by two sons, Christopher E. Watson and partner Katie Rios, of San Diego, CA, and Brandon D. Watson, of Uncasville. He was born in Milford, MA, on October 5, 1963, son of the late Clement E. and Phyllis M. (LeDuke) Watson.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, coaching Tee-ball and little league games, travelling, golfing, fishing, the Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots. For many years, he worked at the AVCRAD in Groton, where he started both the graphics department and laser program. Most recently, he worked as a supervisor at Electric Boat, in Groton. He owned FX Vinyl Graphics, creating signs, graphics, and shirts for local businesses, vehicles, and boats. He volunteered his work for many non-profit organizations.
He is also survived by siblings Linda Sheehan, Clement B. Watson, Phyllis Arpin, Wilfred Lapointe, and Judy Webb, as well as step-mother Ann Watson, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit Church & Allen Funeral Home, 53 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville, from 4 PM until the time of the Funeral Home service at 8PM, on Friday, June 30, 2017.
