Lance was a truck driver for 50 years. He loved his job with Dave and Perrone Stone. He loved snow plowing with Nevil and Rick and Allied Snow Removal. He was an avid motorcyclist and absolutely loved his Harley Davidson and going on motorcycle runs with Rich Terragna, Lynn Cromwell, and Kelly Castleberry (and many others). He had a passion for Jeeps and owned 7 different Jeeps over his lifetime. He loved Oakhill, Daytona, and Tarpon Springs in Florida.
Lance was predeceased by his stepson Christopher Soper in September of 2018
He is survived by two stepdaughters Kayten Sherman and Kelly Soper and his son-in-law Norman Bonin. He was so thankful for Kelly and Norman who did everything for him when he became too ill to do it himself. He is also survived by eight grandchildren including Tajantae Jackson and Teshuah Williams who he helped raise in his home for 10 years. Shane and Danielle Maclean also survive him who made sure to keep him in the lives of his grandchildren after Christopher’s death. His aunt Dale (Harold) Swanson also survives him.
His eight grandchildren were always able to keep him smiling even throughout his illness and his final days. His grandchildren who call him Grampy are Tajantae, Teshuah, Hailly, Hunter, Peyton, Sawyer, Emmit, and Ryder. They were all able to visit him in his final days with 5 year old Sawyer having no problem climbing into bed with him on the day before his passing. Anthony Kobyluck and his son Ant were also considered family and were with him until his death. He was loved by so many!
Lance was also survived by his estranged son Darryl Lynch and granddaughter Esme who he never had the opportunity to get to know and love. Lance will be missed by many!
