David M. Barnhart

David M. Barnhart, 63, of Union City, passed away October 30, 2011. He was born February 19, 1948 in Coldwater, to Dale and Felisha Barnhart. He married Sharon Young in 1991 in Burr Oak. She survives

David was a graduate of Union City High School. He retired from the Kellogg Company and he was a member of the 25 year club of Kellogg’s. David enjoyed collecting antique tractors, and he had belonged to 4-H in his younger years. He also was a member of the Let’s Talk About Jesus Ministry in Quincy.

David is survived by his wife; Sharon, one son; Terry (Rose) Kamps of Union City, 2 grandchildren; Terry Jr., Jennifer Perkins, 1 great grandchild; An’Jrue Kamps, a brother; Kregg Barnhart and 1 niece and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City. Services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City with Pastor Kelly Young officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Union City.
