Myrtle Jewell Smith Allday

UNION—services for Mrs. Myrtle Jewell Smith Allday, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24th, at the County Line Baptist Church, with Revs. Rusty Walton, Warren Hedgepeth, and David Jay officiating. Burial will follow in the County Line Cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Allday, age 86, of Union, went to her eternal home on Thursday, November 21st, at Laird Hospital in Union. She was a long time member of County Line Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include two daughters: Sue Allday McDonald of Ft Walton Beach, FL and Amy Allday Harwell of Meridian; one son: Robert Allday of Union; four grandchildren: John Thomas (Heather) McDonald, Hunter Smith, Heather Harwell, and James Harwell; one great grandchild: Harley McDonald; and one step great grandchild: Lonnie Wayne

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ervin R. Allday, an infant daughter: Nancy Jo Allday; a brother: James Carlton “Buddy” Smith; and a sister: Elma Warren.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm. Saturday, Nov. 23rd, and from 12 – 1:15 pm, Sunday, at the Funeral Home in Union,
