mom,i couldn't have asked for a better most amazing mom. you were my best friend,living with you was a pleasure and being lucky enough to see you each and every day was a joy. we laughed at so many things, got lost together so many times, and ate at our favorite spots so many times. i know you are in a better place but im still heartbroken.miss you like crazy, my little turtle nose!!!

So happy to have been able to meet Jen's amazing Nanu in 2009. The love surrounded her. She taught me how to make pizza and to play May I, what a rad lady!

The world is definitely a sadder, colder place now that you've left it behind, but the eternal warmth you've instilled in the hearts of all the people you've touched in your life will keep us warm through it all until we meet again. You will always be loved and remembered for your unwavering strength, your razor sharp wit, your glowing smile, your uniquely blunt yet nevertheless hysterical sense of humor, but most of all your brilliantly radiant heart which loved us all and instilled within us the same amazing qualities that made you the beautiful woman you are. You will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all of us as well as in the hearts and minds of our descendants as if you never left us. I will love you forever Nan, and I'll see you soon.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My Dad had just told me today.  My thoughts are with you.

What an amazing woman ... the matriarch of such an amazing family of strong beautiful people.  I feel honored to have known and spent time with Nannu ... she certainly was one of a kind ... with an amazing legacy of a family that I know will miss her always.  My love to all of you.

Our Deepest sympathy to everyone who had a special place in their hearts for Aunt Nita. We are so glad that we were able to attend and celebrate her 85th birthday with her. She will be missed by all.

I saw you at Aunt Harriet's 80th. You looked great.  I'll always remember you that day...simply beautiful.  I remembered your cooking at the summer parties at your place and at Aunt Mae's and Uncle Al's.  You could feed an army and your cooking was the greatest!  You raised great kids, married a great guy, Frank, (who we still to this day love and miss) and made all the other family members feel you were permanent, someone to count on. You may not see me there, though my heart and prayers are with you all in the loss of your Mother and my dear Aunt.  As a child I feared her, as she was one of the strongest women I ever knew.
