Barbara Kubin, formerly of Union and Lavallette, NJ, died peacefully May 13 in Forest Hill, MD. She was born in Newark, NJ on December 12, 1933 to the late Henry and Louise Heun; was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence W. Kubin, Sr.; the devoted mother of Larry Kubin (wife, Mary) of Oakton, VA and Karen Kubin Sobka (husband, Scott) of Forest Hill, MD; dear sister of Margaret Ann Gardner and Carol Warwick; loving grandmother of Jared, Kyle and Cailyn Kubin and Elizabeth, Scott (wife, Lauren), Annie and Tessie Sobka. Barbara worked at Summit Medical Group for over 20 years. She was a devoted friend to many and a long-time member of the Red Hat Society.
Friends and family may gather on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 11AM-12PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave, Union. Inurnment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
