Born in Newark New Jersey to her loving parents Joseph and Mary Soto. She grew up in Newark and graduated from Westside high school in 1959 after skipping the eighth grade.
Cis as she was affectionately known had a successful career as an administrative assistant in the accounting business for her dear friend Mario Galazzo.
In 1960 she married her dear husband, Walter A. Hatton. Together they settled in Union New Jersey where they raised their children Cindy and Dean. They had a beautiful marriage, enjoying the pleasures of vacations in paradise isles, where Cis loved walking on the beach and she also enjoyed their trips to Atlantic City. Cis loved her card groups, Scrabble group, knitting group, bowling and red hats. All time well spent with her special friends. Spending time at the family beach house in the summer was also one of her favorite things to do.
Cis was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Hatton (1997), her father Joseph Soto and her mother Mary Soto.
She is survived by her son Dean Hatton (Ellen); and her daughter Cindy Maria LaSalle (Tony); her brother Joseph Soto (Gayle); her grandson Carter Hatton (Heather), her granddaughters; Cayla Hatton (Dr. William Mateker), Maya LaSalle and Gia LaSalle. As well as host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many close cousins and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Cis will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 1500 Morris Ave, Union. A graveside service to follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1801 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cis' memory may be made to Pearl S. Buck International, St. Jude Children's research Hospital or The American Lung Association.
