Charles was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Irvington, NJ. He lived in Clark, NJ for over 50 years before settling in Somerset, NJ. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of IBEW Local Union No. 3, New York. He was employed by ADT Alarm Systems, Linden for over 40 years before his retirement in 1987.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Lillian Krumm. Loving father of Steven Krumm and his wife Colleen, and Carolyn Rappel. Dear grandfather of Christopher Krumm, Allison Rappel, and Elizabeth Krumm. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ. A graveside service will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union on Saturday, February 8th at 10 AM.
