Dusan “Danny” Banic, 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 15 2012. Born in the former Yugoslavia, Danny moved to the U.S. when he was 17 years old. At age 22 he opened his own company, D&B Painting Company, and 10 years later expanded into D&B Industial Contractors, now being ran by his sons
Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Ljuba. He is also survived by his children Aleksandar, Sanja, and Alan, as well as his brothers John, Branko, and Vele, and his mother, Bozica.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 17 2012 from 7-9 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 18 at St. George Orthodox Church, Elizabeth at 11AM with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
