Born on May 2, 1943 and raised in Polonuevo, Colombia, Frank was one of five boys born to Hector and Maria Cervantes. He finished school and went on to serve in the Colombian military. In 1969, a young woman named Marina moved across the street from his home and caught his eye. Little did he know that she would become the love of his life. They married the following year and came to the United States to follow their dreams of making a better life for themselves and to start a family in New Jersey. They had two children: Ken and Linda. For 52 years, Frank was a wonderful and adoring husband to Marina and also proved to be a loving and dedicated father, who always put in the extra effort for his children throughout their lives.
Frank was known for his great sense of humor and storytelling and his love for his beloved New York Yankees. Although he has left his wife, children and grandchildren behind, he will always be in their hearts and minds.
Frank is survived by his wife, two children and five granddaughters.
