Louis J. Rizzo, passed away on August 26, 2018. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Mary, his daughters; Jaimee Streep and her husband, Harry, and Jennifer Daley and her husband, Christopher, his grandchildren; Madeline Streep, Jake Streep, Brennan Daley and Meghan Daley, his sister-in-law, Kathy Negrey, his brother-in-law, Buddy Rooney and his wife, Maureen, his sister-in-law, Patty Rooney, and his nieces and nephews; Brian Negrey, John Negrey, Ben Rooney, and Emma Rooney.
Louis was a graduate of Carteret High School, an Army Veteran and worked as a car salesperson. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. Louis loved to cook, entertain in his home and rooting for the NY Giants.
A visitation will be held for Louis on Wednesday, August 29 from 4-8pm at McCracken Funeral Home. 1500 Morris Ave, Union. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 30th at St. Genevieve’s Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, followed by a burial at St. Gertrude’s cemetery, Colonia.
