Mary Jane Stiles

Mary Jane Stiles (nee Doyle), age 91, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday August 3, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church 971 Suburban Rd., Union, NJ, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ, Monday, August 7 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Mary Jane was employed by Kean University, Union, NJ as a switchboard operator for 25 years. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Rosary Society, 60+ Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Kelly Post 2433 of Union, NJ. Mary Jane could often be found shopping at the mall, getting her hair done at the salon, and going out to eat with friends. She loved to watch the Yankees, go on bus trips, attend book club, buy lottery tickets, and talk on the phone. Most of all, she loved being a mom and grandma.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Stiles, her dear son Mark D. Stiles, and son-in-law Edward Reilly. She is survived by her devoted children Susan Reilly, Todd (Theresa) Stiles, and daughter-in-law, Hazel Stiles; her loving grandchildren Nicole (Warren), Kevin (Katie), Christopher, Megan, Christian, Danielle, Heather (Vincent), Noah, Alexa, Jonathan, and Brendan; her cherished great-grandchildren Jayden, Tatiana, and Summer.
