Minming and I were in school together ...and we shared a lot of laughter and fun times then.... and even though I lost touch, every time I heard her name it would bring back the same warmth, the joy and  most of all - her smile. I will miss her .

Minming was my friend from when we were four years old… We did so much together : from eating vast quantities of puchkas on the streets of Calcutta to being a part of the Premjit Lall Tennis School together to being the only two women in the stadium at an East Bengal/Mohun Bagan match! Even when she hated coming into the city, she sometimes came into Manhattan to have lunch when I visited.  And Minching was our mutual source of news…  Go well, my friend. I will always think of you.
