Though it has been over 8 years since I worked with my friend, Orlando, I will always remember him. He always greeted you with a big smile. Everything asked of him was always answered by "No problem, partner."
He was a true family man who was very proud of his kids and family. He worked alot: with Ideal Windows and the business he had created.
He came from Venezuela and through hard work & smart investing made a very successful life for him and his family. Nothing was given to him, he earned it the hard way.
I will miss that special happy personality which I saw in him and his gracious candor. God bless you, Orlando and your family! You will be always fondly remembered. Gene

Se nos va una persona que en este mundo ofreció su amistad, generosidad, valores muy significativos que valoro con todo corazón. Su caminar deja una huella imborrable en sus amigos y familia. Dios recibe en el cielo un hombre excepcional. Paz en su tumba y fortaleza a su familia. 

Dear Mrs. Gonzalez and Family,
       I'm so sorry about the loss of Orlando. He was a kind man, a good husband, father,  a great grandfather. He was also my friend. We worked together at Ideal for more than 25 years. In that time, we shared our thoughts, our families, what we each would do when we retire and as the years passed, we shared the pains of getting old. He loved his coffee and  looked so much forward to the end of the year to  travel to Venezuela to visit his mother and family. He would always be in good spirits with a few exceptions, which  was understandable. Even a saint in those situations would be in a foul mode. I will share one with you.
      Every morning one of the first things that he would do was to change his leather shoes and put on sneakers. He must have polished those shoes every night since the always looked like brand new. One day one of my managers and I decided to hide his shoes in another box. As the shift finished, he came back to his desk as usual to change his sneakers for his leather shoes. He started looking all around and could not find them. Slowly and surely his face started turning red, every minute that passed and he could not find his beloved shoes, more red.  I ask him " are you sure you had them on today when you came in". He looked at me and I cannot write what was his response. I tell him why don't you look in the other box, maybe you don't remember that you put them there. There they were. His beloved shoes. Slowly the red turned to pink and back to his normal color. That day he left without saying " Good Night".
      Every morning when he passed through the office door, he would greet me saying " Good morning Mr. Kalyna" and I would in return respond " Good morning Mr. Gonzalez. Never missed a day saying it.
    I know that nothing that I say will take away the pain of your loss. Those who knew him as I did, he will always be in our hearts and prayers.

Querido hermano, 
Hoy recapitulando nuestra historia de vida, recuerdo que desde muy joven mostraste ese carácter emprendedor, optimista venciendo obstáculos de toda índole , siempre volando alto, cada vez superando las metas de una vida mejor para la familia.
Fueron tus virtudes el mejor legado, honesto, correcto, trabajador incansable, amoroso, sensible y emotivo, responsable, y como algunos amigos te describían en una palabra:un caballero.
Te recuerdo sonriente, tranquilo , pensando en nuevos proyectos, en el bienestar de la familia.
Fuiste un gran ser humano, tu partida es prematura , nos dejas un vacío inmenso , que trataré de sobrellevar con muchos recuerdos bellos de nuestra vida compartida.

Rocio, Sophie.... y a Toda tu familia, extiendo mis mas sinceras condolencias por la partida de Orlando. Se que son una familia de fe y es por eso que a todo nos reconforta Saber que es un hasta Pronto, porque Dios promete que seremos eternos y gozaremos de Su paz. Regozigemonos de Saber que Orlando ya esta con el Padre eterno.

Con la triste sorpresa de su temprana partida nos quedamos con un vacío muy difícil de llenar.  Con su bondad, su amistad y sonrisa nos lleno de felicidad a muchos la vida. Hoy desde el fondo de mi corazón quiero enviarle un saludo a su Esposa Mary, a sus hijos Bermary y Jofrey, a todos sus hermanos, rogándole a Dios fortaleza para cada uno de ustedes. Mi familia y yo nos unimos en oración rogándole a nuestro creador que lo haya acogido en la maravillosa eternidad.

My condolences to all of orlandos family. For many years orlando and I worked together at Ideal Window. Many good memories I can recall on projects we worked on. He was always there to help out. 
Orlando left me with many good memories as i hope he did with you too.

I worked with Orlando at Ideal for many years.  I considered him my Good Friend and confidant more then I did a co-worker.   He was extremely Great at any position he managed and he was very understanding to all the problems anyone ever had.  The world lost a One Of A Kind Individual who I will always hold in the Highest Regard.   I am Extremely Sorry for your Loss. I am so deeply saddened to learn of Orlando's untimely passing. He was a wonderful neighbor to me (across the street), always good natured, cheerful and willing to lend a hand when needed, and obviously a devoted and loving grandfather, father and husband. Words can not capture how sorely he will be missed by me and all who had the good fortune to know him and feel his grace.
