Robert J. Chervy, 70, of Union passed away on August 31, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Chervy. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Rock, his cousin, Mary Haggerty, and many other cousins. Robert was an avid tennis fan, a classic car admirer, a collector of record albums and coins. He loved flowers and gardening and could identify most species of plants and flowers. Robert retired from his position as a Purchasing Agent for the state of New Jersey after a 20 year career.
A visitation will be held for Robert at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union on Tuesday, Sept 5 from 4-8pm, and a funeral service will be held at McCracken on Wednesday, Sept 6 at 10am followed by a burial at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
