Toby was a professional musician and performed on radio, stage and studio since the age of 4. His passion for music inspired him to open a music store and studio in 1960. La Habra Music Center is one of the oldest family owned music stores in Southern California and is still in operation by family members. Toby’s other passions included gardening, travel, food, sports, card games and he could be heard up to his last days professing his views on the politics of the day.
Toby lived in the Upland area for over 53 years. He was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful member of the Catholic Church. He was always the “life of the party” and could be counted on to raise the spirits of all he came in contact with. As the head of a traditional Italian family, (all members of the family were considered Italian) he made himself available for guidance, counseling and teaching. He touched many lives through his business, family, friends and church. Toby will be missed by all.
