He leaves his wife of 58 years Jeanne (Minahan) Hartig, daughters Anthea Marie Hartig (John Swiecki), Erica Hartig Dubreuil, his grandsons Langston Hartig Swiecki, François Joseph Dubreuil, Cameron Hartig Swiecki and Luc Fredric Dubreuil, his sister Gail (Hartig) Theurer, as well as extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Carl Joseph Hartig.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alta Loma on 9 September at 10:30 AM, with rosary and viewing preceding at 10:00. Internment will be private.
