

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Chas Carlos Salce, on Christmas Day, 2024. Chas was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished friend, brother, Tio, and Nino. Born on September 8, 1978, and raised in Pomona, California, he brought joy and kindness to everyone who knew him.
Chas attended Garey High School, where he played football and baseball, forming lifelong friendships and memories. He went on to earn his degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Engineering. Chas is survived by his beloved wife, Cecelia Salce, and their son, Chas J Salce.
Chas and Cecelia shared a lifelong bond, having known each other since childhood. In 1998, they rekindled their friendship, which blossomed into a deep and enduring love. They married in November of 2000, and their love story has been a testament to commitment and affection.
Cissy and Chas went to Disneyland often, and it became such a big part of their life. When their son, Chas J, was born, Disneyland became a cherished family outing. They enjoyed countless trips together, creating unforgettable memories that will never be forgotten.
Chas had an unbreakable bond with his son, Chas J Salce. He will be remembered for his unwavering love, strength, and dedication to his family. Chas was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him.
Chas’s passion for art and music were sources of pride and inspiration. He was a proud US Marine, serving 4 years on active duty and 4 years in the reserve. He was also known for being a sharp dresser, always presenting himself with style and elegance. Chas was very close to and loved his family very much, including his brother Bob Salce and his sisters Shirley Celio and Kris Rodriguez. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his generosity and warmth.
We will forever carry Chas’s memory in our hearts and find comfort in knowing that he is watching over us.
