To my dear friend Ernie G. Pruett.  On the fourth anniversary of your passing,  I just wanted to send this note to remind myself and others of the huge impact that you had on our lives, and how your absence has left a void so large, the only thing that could possibly fill it is the love from your many friends and family members.   It is hard to believe you have been gone four years already.  I can still recall many of the times that we had together at work and at play.  It seems like they happened only yesterday.   Maybe this is Gods method of helping to remind us of the important people in our lives.  He slows down time making us believe that things are still the same as they have been and will remain so.   Instinctively,  we know this is not true.  Time hurls by at breathtaking speed and does not abide by mere mortals needs.
