He was an area resident all his life attending local schools including Chaffey High School. He enjoyed a career in the graphic arts industry that spanned over twenty-five years and often brought samples of his work home to share with his family.
Michael unashamedly loved our Lord God with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength. He never missed an opportunity to share about God’s love, grace, and mercy. We take comfort knowing that our beloved is now resting in the arms of our savior, Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah).
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and Papa. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anastasia; their five children, Regina (Christopher), Michelle (Jay), Renée (Derrell), Michael, and Maria (Peter); and eleven precious grandchildren, Jacob, Sophia, Alexa, Micah, Abigail, Anabella, Miranda, Johnnie, Arynn, Raelena, and Minna. He is also survived by his siblings Joann, Jeanette, Joseph, Salvador Jr.; and his many nephews, nieces, and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Michael treasured his family, especially his grandchildren. He attended many sporting events like soccer, volleyball, football, t-ball, and track and swim meets. In addition, he loved school plays, musicals, open houses, and Grandparents’ Day activities. Papa savored every moment with big smiles and boisterous cheers.
He sought out adventure and rarely declined an invitation to go hunt and fish with loved ones, cruise via classic car or boat, enjoy a trip to the beach or mountains, attend NFL games, or visit local hobby shops to scope/score a piece of memorabilia.
He had a passion for art and spent most of his retirement creating one-of-a-kind pieces around his home. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and found much joy in growing an array of fruits, vegetables, beautiful flowers, and many species of plants. He loved life.
Michael, your beautiful smile, contagious laughter, melodic voice, and joyful spirit will be greatly missed by all. We love knowing that you will be in the presence of our Heavenly Father for eternity. You, our beloved Michael Anthony Medina Sr., have impacted our lives in ways you may have never imagined, and you will remain forever in our hearts. Until we meet again. Selah
